The brief
Disney Pixar wanted to promote the UK cinema release of Ratatouille with fun, engaging, interactive content online.
The solution
With little time to spare, and no contact with Disney’s creative agency, I set about deconstructing the visual brand values, sleuthing the correct typeface and envisaging the interactive experience.
The response: a treasure hunt game microsite that encourages users to interact with the characters for the chance to win Disney goodies.
We generated new brand assets and the site uses a combination of Flash and proprietry CMS elements, glued together with a strong dose of bulletproof XHTML/CSS.
