The brief
A friend came to me with his commercial music project, Invaderz Records. They needed a strong mark to brand all their material in a competitive, home-grown Drum & Bass market, with the likes of the visually powerful Metalheadz.
The solution
I wanted to give them a strong, typographic mark that would stand the test of time, but would reflect the soulfulness and melodic nature of their Drum & Bass sound.
In total, over 20 logo directions were carefully drawn up, from which two designs were shortlisted. Final presentations to the client showed potential applications.
