A big thank you to Dan for introducing me to Microformats. Essentially, your CSS class names become the API to your website. By using class names that adhere to a central list, you can code up say your contact details so that people can download your vCard. Expand this to a calendar of events, and already you can see the power of sharing and syndicating information. There’s loads more to it, but that’s the simple explanation.
