Friday tip #3: Only you can do it
Don’t ever show work you are not happy with. Show no one. Ever. You’ve been told “three creative routes” but you only mustered two aces. Waddddyado?
Bosh together something predictable, derivative or rehashed from and old project?
Don’t.
The client, AM, CD will usually choose it (unless truely awful). You will be stuck with it. And well on your way to mediocraty. Just dont show it. I’ve stayed as close as possible to this path for years. It has never failed. If you can do better, and know it - you can do better.
