Bypass Facebook advertising guidelines with new, free format
I saw this recently and was surprised but intrigued.

This Facebooker has in excess of 900 friends. What if an advertiser such as “Get Them In” approached him/her and asked for an endorsement in exchange for remuneration? This could be a link or simply written out in their “status”. In fact, I’ve realised that I did something similar for a friend’s band recently who have their single out on iTunes, but what I’m talking about here is a “paid for model” for peer reccommendation.

Here you can see that “Get Them In” and a YouTube link are both mentioned in the status update. This effectively bypasses Facebook’s advertising guidelines and their sales team, increasing the commercial real estate in this case by 900%.
Multiply this by several participants and the numbers are staggering, but is it ethical?
