Clearly, if you want to position yourself as the number one British supermarket, the easiest way is to slap on some patriotism, a healthy dose of comedy and rose tinted memories of when Britain was great. Round this off with Dad’s army music and job done.

Note to self: if it’s not one of your top clients like Sony Bravia, then you’re allowed to mercilessly plunder the archives. Shame they missed out the quirky comedy u-turn loop that one of the German arrows does in the original, which is arguably, the funniest and best bit.
