Sony Ericsson Mood Mixer
Sony Ericsson’s new phone, the W910i allows the user to shake the phone to move to the next track.
What mood are you in?
Sony’s new walkman phone is all about music. We pitched a mixing deck where the user can mix music video playlists.
User generated playlists
We based our pitch around Sony Ericsson’s concept of moods. Each music video would be tagged with a mood, and built up into mood playlists. From any of these user generated lists, a user can create their own live mix, which in turn, can be saved and made available to other registered users.
Shake me baby
The new W910i comes with a built in mechanism allowing the user to shake the phone to move to the next track. To promote this feature, we included a shake control in our designs. When the user grabs the control with their mouse, they can shake the slider to randomly select a new track.
